On December 4, Tången acquired SWEMCO AB, a well-established company that has been developing and manufacturing machinery for road surfacing and asphalt works, since 1985. The company operates in Örbyhus, employs 20 people, and offers products such as pothole patchers, gravel spreaders and bitumen sprayers, along with a well-developed service and aftermarket business.

As part of the acquisition, SWEMCO becomes part of the business area Tången Industriteknik AB (Industrial Technology). This creates new opportunities to broaden customer value and further develop the product portfolio within construction and road maintenance equipment.
