Tången acquires AB Sjuntorp

Tången has acquired AB Sjuntorp, a comprehensive industrial partner operating through four subsidiaries (Elinc, Produktionsteknik, Truck & Maskin, and Jopro). Together, AB Sjuntorp’s subsidiaries form a complete provider of solutions for material handling as well as production engineering services and products for the industrial sector.

“For me, the most important thing is that the group can continue to grow and develop in a stable and secure way. That’s why I am very pleased that it is Tången who has now taken over as the new owner, and that AB Sjuntorp will serve as the industrial platform. This provides security and opportunities for AB Sjuntorp, with its fantastic employees, strong growth, and great potential,” says Thomas Mark, Founder of AB Sjuntorp.

In 2022, the group had revenues of SEK 182 million, with an EBITDA of SEK 32 million, and employs around 100 people. The company will become part of Tången’s Service business area, with the acquisition completed on April 27, 2023. Tången plans to build on this platform acquisition with a long-term perspective.

“I am really looking forward to working together with Tången towards our vision of becoming one of Sweden’s best employers. As Tången’s industrial platform, we now have the opportunity to further develop our delivery of solutions, services, and support to the industrial sector – something I am truly excited about,” says Johan Stjernberg, CEO of AB Sjuntorp.
