Information about the processing of personal data
Tången Industrikapital AB, corporate ID no. 559270-7664 (“Tången”), is committed to protecting individuals’ privacy and therefore takes care to always handle personal data appropriately and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Below, we describe what personal data we collect, how we process it, and your rights in relation to us.
This policy applies when Tången and its subsidiaries process personal data.
What personal data do we collect?
Tången collects and processes personal data from business contacts. This information may also be obtained from publicly available registers, for example, in connection with Tången’s investments in companies. If you wish to subscribe to information from Tången, such as press releases or financial reports, you need to provide contact details to access the service.
The personal data collected and processed by Tången includes name, professional contact details, information about the company or organization you represent, your position, and other work-related data.
When you visit Tången’s website, statistics and general information about site traffic patterns are collected. However, this information does not contain any data that can identify individuals. Please refer to our cookie policy for more information about how cookies are used on the website.
How do we handle personal data?
Personal data is processed to conduct Tången’s business and maintain relationships with our business contacts, partners, and suppliers. Some personal data is processed to administer Tången’s investments in other companies and for statistical, monitoring, and archiving purposes. Personal data may also be used to send out press releases, financial reports, and invitations to events or similar occasions
When registering to receive our subscription services, you will be asked to consent to the processing of your personal data for this purpose. In other cases, Tången processes personal data based on legitimate interest, as we have a strong interest in conducting our business and maintaining business relationships with you and the companies or organizations you represent.
We do not sell personal data to third parties. As a rule, we only process your personal data within the EU/EEA. If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, such transfer will be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and requires that the receiving country has an adequate level of protection or that there are other sufficient safeguards in place to ensure lawful transfer.
How long do we retain your data?
We retain and use your data for as long as necessary to initiate, maintain, or manage a business relationship with you or the company/organization you represent. Personal data is stored in accordance with legal obligations or as long as needed to fulfill the purpose of the processing. You can unsubscribe from our subscription services at any time, and in such cases, your data will no longer be stored for that purpose.
Your rights regarding personal data
You have the right to request confirmation of whether personal data about you is being processed by us, and if so, to receive information about which personal data is being processed.
If your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or supplemented. In accordance with applicable law, you may also request the deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or object to the processing of your data. Under certain conditions, you may request that your personal data be transferred in electronic format.

Please note that there is always some risk involved in sharing personal data – whether in person, over the phone, or online – and that no technical systems are completely secure from intrusion. However, Tången always takes appropriate technical measures to prevent and minimize the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration of your personal data.
