NSI, Tången’s platform company within paints and surface chemistry, has announced two strategic acquisitions following the summer. With these additions, NSI broadens its offering and strengthens its capacity within its existing business areas – Cleaning and Coatings. The company expands from two to four production units, thereby reinforcing its presence in the Nordic home market. In addition, a new Nordic group headquarters will be established in Skövde. PLS specializes in liquid chemical products for cleaning, sanitation, and personal hygiene, with both development, production, and headquarters concentrated at its factory in Skövde.

Solmaster is also a developer and producer of certain cleaning products, but additionally manufactures other product categories such as lubricants and floor paints. The entire operation is based in Lahti, Finland.

“These two acquisitions are important building blocks in our journey to offer a complete product portfolio and to establish a strong geographic presence in our Nordic home market. With PLS and Solmaster, we gain robust development and production capacity in complementary ways – making us a formidable partner in the industry,” says Christian Claeson, Managing Director Sweden at NSI.

With the new acquisitions, NSI is expected to reach a turnover of SEK 270 million and employ 110 people.
